Newsletter Issue 16: Personal Project about Fatherhood

It's been over a year...

I started this personal project over a year ago; in November 2019 to be exact. The point of the project was always to explore, express, and transcend my own feelings about Fatherhood and what i think it looks like today. from my own experience as a son to my experiences as a father, from the 1980s to the 2020s, our roles have changed so much. That's why I wanted to photograph other fathers. I wanted to see myself reflected in others and I wanted to give love to the people that came to sit for me.

Exhibiting the work and the creation of a coffee table book was always the point of the point... its culmination. Well, here we are. I have taken the first step towards its final destination.

OPEN SHOW San Diego.

I'd love it if you could be there for me and for the other photographers showing their work.

Don't worry, it's on Zoom.

So, get your ticket... get a babysitter for the kids, lock yourself in a room and come see your boy stumble nervously through his first show and tell. I'm very proud of the work I've done here and it required a lot of hours, a lot of dedication, and a lot of love for the people I've photographed and I would love for you all to be there.
