About Jackie

Jackie is a San Diego-based photographer specializing in portraits, events, and storytelling that feels natural, emotional, and true to life. Her journey into photography grew from a love of connection with people and capturing real moments as they unfold. With a soft, cinematic approach and an eye for subtle details, Jackie guides her clients through fun, relaxed sessions while creating timeless, moment-driven images they’ll treasure forever.

When she’s not behind the camera, Jackie loves trying new restaurants, traveling the world with her friends or spending time with her family across the country, and soaking up new cultures wherever she goes. Her favorite place she’s traveled so far is Iceland, and she proudly embraces her Irish and Mexican roots. She brings that same adventurous, warm spirit into every session, making each experience just as meaningful as the photos themselves.

Jackie is a rockstar. She’s a very talented photographer and my friend. She’s funny, kind, attentive, and cares about the story the same way I do. Jackie has assisted me on many weddings as my second shooter but is also a very accomplished artist of her own and is available for weddings under the 147Photos umbrella.
