A wedding at The Guild in Felton, California

Felton is in the mountains, on the outskirts of Santa Cruz.

You’re welcome. :D

I feel like doing an award acceptance speech right now because whether or not I win any awards or recognition for photographing this wedding, I am so proud of the work I’ve done and so happy with the results that I do feel like I have achieved something pretty special.

NOTE: Since this wedding happened in the Bay area, I will be throwing a lot of tech jargon into this next paragraph to show you how cool I am.

Sooo, when you analyze the data I believe this wedding was the synergy of an awesome couple hiring a photography ninja (lol), an amazing ecosystem to shoot in, and a fantastic low-key venue (The Guild in Felton) in the middle of the redwoods. I daresay this is the wedding that will disrupt the entire industry.

Besides the fact that this was not very funny and that I could cut it out to avoid the eye-rolls (but I’m going to keep it because I don’t know how to edit myself and because I don’t want a very successful blog… obviously), I really want to praise Azilee and Loren for organizing a great and fun wedding. You know by now —if you’ve read anything on this blog before or know me— that the more I feel involved in the weddings I shoot the better my photography becomes. I’ll say that it took me about 30 seconds to fall in step with the ambiance of the wedding; especially with the groomsmen. They were already a little loose by the time I reached them so they weren’t shy about having me with them so that was perfect. I ain’t complaining because it shows in the photos how comfortable and fun this was…

Imma let you peruse the photos now because that’s why you clicked… I assume.
