a wedding at the Havens Country Club in Vista
Haven Country Club in Fallbrook is at first sight just another golf/country club… it’s clean, calm, and full of imported doors, windows and architectural elements from old French castles but it does not no try too hard. It’s the kind of place where everything just works. Good light, open space, and enough room for people to move. the bridal suite is gigantic and fantastic. This wedding followed suit. No chaos, no forced moments.
The best part bout this location? The ceremony space. wowzers. I could take photos there every weekend.
The ceremony itself was tight and emotional without being overdone, guests locked in, phones (mostly) down, real reactions happening in real time.
From a documentary standpoint, this was ideal. When couples trust the day , and their photographer, the story gets better. Jasmine and Gio were awesome to be with. from the rehearsal dinner the night before to the actual wedding day, it was super smooth sailing and I did very good work in my opinion.
and these people know how to party. The dance floor built slowly and then didn’t let go. My job was simple: stay alert, stay invisible, and let the moments stack up. Weddings like this don’t need hype—they need honesty. Haven gave us that, and the photos followed.
I’ll let you be the judge.
